St Herbert's self-catering cottage, Keswick

St Herbert's Cottage is superbly equipped and decorated, situated in a quiet residential area, and only a few minutes' walk from the centre of Keswick.

Rooms are spacious and furnished to a high standard.

It sleeps four to six in three bedrooms: one double, one twin and one double/twin.

A superb base for fell walking and exploring the whole Lake District, with a wide range of shops, pubs and places to eat close by.

There is ample on street parking and the cottage also benefits from a secure single garage to the rear.

The high quality, fitted kitchen includes a dishwasher, washer/dryer, large fridge/freezer, microwave, built-in electric oven and gas hob. A back lobby provides ample boot/coat storage plus an additional downstairs loo.

 

The comfortable living room includes flame effect gas fire in slate surround, stereo Hi-fi, Nicam television, video recorder/player and DVD player. This opens into the dining room which comfortably seats 6.

Upstairs is a spacious double bedroom (pictured), with large built in wardrobe. The second bedroom is usually made up as a single but has an additional pull out bed to make a twin if required. There is also a bathroom with separate bath and shower.

Stairs lead up to a large attic room with both a double and single bed, from which there are mountain views (as shown).
